Editorial Fetish

While flipping through the Pages of Vogue, I stumbled upon the Glamorous & Charismatic Click of Kate Moss. The Clicks were Uber-Fashionable & Super impressing. Supermodel Kate Moss and American Vogue decided it was time to pay tribute to the iconic Ritz Paris Hotel, an opulent residence facing the Place Vendome, in this amazing fashion editorial that epitomizes French luxury and excess.
A couture-clad Kate is seen hanging around in the bathroom of the Coco Chanel Suite, having breakfast in L’Espadon, and lying with bags and bags of Chanel wares in the EUR 16,000 per night Imperial Suite.

Louis Vuitton’s Jelly handbag is Spring/Summer 2012′s must-have

Heres my new found Arm Candy. Forget that tacky rubber Hermes ripoff unimaginatively dubbed the Jelly Kelly. Spring/Summer 2012′s must-have arm candy is Louis Vuitton’s Jelly handbag, which has been getting quite the buzz from the fashion and celebrity world since it debuted on the runway two seasons ago.
Also known as the Basket bag, the Louis Vuitton Jelly is Marc Jacobs’ luxurious reinterpretation of the shopping bag. This bag is elevated to luxury status in metallic patent calfskin, which is simultaneously perforated and embossed to create a three-dimensional effect.

A new perforation technique has been applied to the creation in which the leather is perforated and embossed at the same time for a refined three-dimensional result. “These baskets are very naïve like shopping baskets but are cut in beautiful mirrored leather,” Marc Jacobs explained.
This is yet another take on the whole transparent bag trend, which labels like Prada and Furla have dominated with their clear and “Candy” bags. But the difference here is Louis Vuitton maintains its opulent touch with the use of perforated leather to achieve a level of transparency, rather than plastic or PVC or rubber or whatever material other manufacturers use.
Available in the sorbet shades of glossy pink, silky nougat and luminous mint, the Basket bags are available in two trendy sizes.

PFW Haute Couture S/S12:

Elie SaabElie Saab is one of my Favourite Designers. His Collection includes an Array of Sophistication & Finesse. When his Spring/Summer '12 collection was recently showcased in Paris, I was blown away. If little girls dream of becoming a princess then Elie Saab has made dreams come true (for those with unlimited budgets that is!) Sending an array of pretty pastels down the Parisian runway, the self-taught designer fulfilled childhood fantasies with floor-skimming gowns, ornate detailing and an abundance of fabric. The gowns are beyond beautiful.

Apart from using colors in his collection, he revamped the usual white wedding gown (which was his show stopper) and added a hint of baby pink. Here are my favorite gowns and dresses.

How gorgeous is the yellow gown on the left?

Leave it to Elie Saab to make peach on gowns and dresses look so beautiful

Never thought the color green would make a gown come alive. Just beautiful.

And here's the show stopper; the bridal gown with hints of pink.
